Appointed Life Member on the 8 November 1995.
Mr Les Bromley came onto the Committee in 1975.
In 1979, Les was appointed treasurer as served for two years. 1981 Les served as a committee member and in 1982 as Junior Vice President, Senior Vice President 1983 through 1986, then
President in 1987 through 1989. Les remained on Committee until 1995.
Les Bromley main theme in the Club was to see the watering system become fully automated. along with special surrounds mower to compliment the course improvements. He spent many
hours on course working on plans for development of the course which has had a significant impact on the course as it is known today.
Many past and present members of the Club are well aware of the contribution Les has made to the Club.
A drinking fountain near the first Tee, is a fitting memorial to Les Bromley.
