Appointed Life Member on the 30 November 2024.
Jo Wise joined the Club in 1987.
Notably Jo was:
- Member for the General Committee from 2006 – 2008 (3 Years) and from 2016 – 2017 (2 Years).
- Club Treasurer from 2009 – 2015 (7 years)
- Club Secretary 2018 – 2023 (6 Years)
- Ladies Committee Secretary 2008 – 2022 (15 Years)
- Ladies Committee Treasurer 2008 – 2010 (3 years)
Jo has been an active volunteer of this club since joining. As Club Secretary, Jo was heavily involved with the program to introduce more ladies into golf along with a review of many Club Policies and Procedures including Workplace Health & Safety, Staff Grievance, Governance, Asset Management, Member Protection, Conflict of Interest and many others.
Jo has also been heavily involved in grant applications from State and Local Government towards features of the Club including the Driving Range Shelter establishment and the sun sail protection shelters around the course.
Jo’s contribution as a committee member, executive member and her longtime involvement has been outstanding, and Benalla Golf Club has and will continue to benefit from her contribution.
