Appointed Posthumous Life Member on the 23 November 2010.
Wilma participated in sport including tennis and golf in Benalla at a prominent level.
She was elected Ladies President for 1975 through 1976 and Ladies Captain for 1978 through 1979 and again in 1981.
Along with her husband, Colin, Wilma was joint sponsor of the C.A. & W.H. Boyd Mixed Four Ball Knockout, a major event at the club which commenced in 1976.
With the Centenary of the Club fast approaching, Wilma along with Colin, spent considerable time researching the history of the club and along with a centenary committee, produced the Benalla Golf Club ‘A Centenary History 1903-2003 booklet this was launched at a special book launch at the Club Friday March 28 2003, prior to the Centenary Dinner held on Saturday March 29.
